SERVICE NOTE: (Models Manufactured Feb. 2003 and prior) - If the unit has never had the rubber augers replaced, each of the rubber auger spirals will have one pop rivet retainer. This is a remnant from the assembly line process.
The first time these auger are removed it will be necessary to take a small electric drill (3/64") and drill out the center of each rivet. Once the rivets are drilled, they can be pried from retained position with a pair of pliers. The replacement auger rubber spiral kits mentioned above contain extra hardware to replace these rivets with self-tapping screws.
